Welcome to Shorne Village Hall

Shorne Village Hall

Situated in the centre of Shorne the village hall acts as a community centre for the Parish of Shorne and a focal point of use for those in the Medway Towns and Gravesend looking for a venue of interest outside their immediate area.

Prior to opening to the public the Hall was set up as a charitable trust in 1905. Shorne Parish Council acts as Custodian Trustee but the charity is administered by a Management Committee made up of the various organisations who hire the hall on a regular basis.

In 1957 the hall was extended and in the late 1970s it was enlarged to its present size. It now acts as a multi-function venue, providing good kitchen and toilet facilities and free car parking to hirers. It is ideal for weddings receptions, family celebrations and corporate meetings.
