** A four-hour session is either 9:00-13:00, 13:30-17:30 or 18:00-22:00
* w/e = weekend hire charges
Optional addons
- Basic setting up/putting away fee tables/chairs: £12 Small Hall, £18 Large Hall*
- Preparation period charge: Hourly rate applied
- Kitchen with use of cooker: £45 for whole period of booking
- Additional caretaking/cleaning charge (if hall/room left in poor condition): Up to £50
*In exceptional cases this charge may need to be greater.
Other notes
- There will be no additional cost for use of the kitchen, unless the cooker is used, but
the kitchen must be booked at the same time as the halls to avoid clashes. If the
kitchen is needed for a hiring requiring use of the cooker, that will take precedence
over other bookings. - Regular Hire Groups & Trustee Groups will be able to access the Hall 15 minutes
before their booked session and be allowed 15 minutes after the session to vacate at
no additional charge. Bookings will therefore have a 30-minute gap between them
(unless mutually agreed). - SVHMC have a projector is available for use. A small fee may be applicable. The
projector must be booked at least 48 hours before the session it is required. - Committee Room Sessions are 4 hours, either 9:00-13:00, 13:30-17:30 or 18:00-
22:00. - In exceptional circumstances, where a group wishes to hire the Small Hall, but it is
already booked by another hirer, the Committee may allow the Large Hall to be used
at the Small Hall rate. - The new rates would apply to all bookings from 01.09.2026.
- For current regular users, rates below the threshold may be reviewed annually on an
individual basis with SVHMC.
